01Define the scope
- Write down exactly what you want done and why (a repair, an upgrade, or a full replacement). Scope creep is the number one budget killer.
- Measure and record your lawn square footage. Size is usually the single biggest driver of the final price.
- Pick a quality tier up front: budget, mid, or premium. The same project can cost several times more at the top tier.
- Take clear before photos from a few angles. They help with quotes, permits, and tracking progress.
